Kathleen dedicates her practice to protecting the interests of children and families. Whether that means ensuring children receive the special education services to which they are entitled or forcing corporate entities to honor their legal obligations, she finds the legal path forward for her clients.

Kathleen began her career as a teacher in the School District of Philadelphia, teaching a variety of subjects to 8th to 12th grade students. Driven by a desire to correct the injustices and inequities surrounding her at work, Kathleen attended Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. She concentrated her studies on civil rights, enforcement of the U.S. Constitution, and using the law to protect people, including an internship at Disability Rights Pennsylvania. Kathleen graduated law school magna cum laude and was in the top 10% of her class.

Since being admitted to the bar, Kathleen has focused on representing plaintiffs. She started by representing individuals who had been wrongfully denied the life insurance benefits of their loved ones. Before long, Kathleen returned to the world of schools, pursuing claims on behalf of students and their families based on laws protecting the rights of students in schools, including those against discrimination based on race, gender, and disability, as well as special education law.

Recognizing that schools are not the only entities failing us, Kathleen has extended her practice to include the pursuit of consumer protection actions, largely through the use of class action litigation.

Every year since 2023, Kathleen has been named to Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star list. This Honor is conferred on no more than the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state each year.

Outside the office, Kathleen largely spends her time with her son, volunteering at his school, adding books to her “to-be-read” pile, and coming up with brilliant craft projects she won’t have time to do.
