Patricia Mueller is an Education Paralegal with Wolpert, Vernon & Gordon LLP, where she works closely with the firm’s attorneys in representing students and families in special education and civil rights matters. Drawing on more than three decades of experience in public education, Pat provides valuable educational insight throughout the litigation process, assisting with case analysis, review of individualized education programs (IEPs), evaluations, and other educational documents.
Pat collaborates with the firm’s attorneys to analyze educational programming, identify areas of noncompliance with federal and state special education laws, and develop recommendations that support the firm’s advocacy on behalf of students with disabilities. She also serves as an important resource for families, helping them understand complex educational issues and navigate the special education process.
Before joining the firm, Pat spent more than thirty years serving children with disabilities and their families in Pennsylvania public schools. She began her career as a speech-language pathologist before advancing to the role of Special Education Supervisor, where she developed and oversaw special education programs and services for students with a broad range of disabilities. Throughout her career in education, she worked collaboratively with educators, related service providers, and families to ensure students received appropriate educational programming and that their rights were protected. Her extensive experience in educational programming and regulatory compliance provides a valuable perspective in the firm’s representation of students and families.
Pat received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Arts in Speech Pathology from West Chester University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is certified as a Special Education Supervisor.
